Manchester Histories Virtual Celebration Day 2020

The Manchester Histories Celebration Day is a chance to celebrate all the hard work of organisations that are often run by volunteers, but play an important role in telling local stories and help to connect people together through history and cultural activities. We usually all come together under one roof and share the work we do via stalls, talks and workshops. Because of Covid-19 and to keep everyone safe through social distancing, we have decided to bring the Celebration Day online. Below is a directory of brilliant local history archives, societies, museums and charities in the North West of England. Scroll through and find out more about each organisation, what they do and how you can get involved remotely. If you would like to get involved and submit your organisation to be listed on the directory please contact us on the Contact page with your information.
